As posted on a different thread, MD sent me the Sage 100 2022-2024 ODBC Update.exe requesting me to install it.

Sage 64 bit closing print screen with no error without printing issue - SAGE HAS A FIX! | Sage 100

The install notes indicate the driver update is compatible with both 32 and 64 bit versions of Sage.

After installation, I rebooted the server.  Unfortunately, the CSODBC service would not restart.  See attachment for message.

I uninstalled the CSODBC program, then reinstalled.  Still will not start.  Rebooted server.  No improvement.

I ran the 64 bit utility.  Then reran it to move it back to 32 bit.  Still not feeling the love.

    Rebooted again.

    All thoughts appreciated,

    TIA

My client where I had an issue with the bug fix on a TS can't use Sage Intelligence now.  I've uninstalled and removed the files Sage tells you to in their "Uninstall SI" KB, although I didn't have a chance to reboot in the middle.  Anyway, still not working.  Possibly BI Explorer, too, but haven't even had a chance to look at that yet.

SOOOOO - hugs, @Jeff Schwenk, I feel your pain.

    The sad saga continues.....

I opened a support ticket (8010383694) with Ryan Pierce(?).  He indicated that this is the THIRD call in the past two days that he has dealt with.  His quick fix was to restore the pvxsec32 and pvxsec64.dll file from backup prior to the patch install.  Unfortunately, this did not work for me.

    Waiting for plan B

I hope they're putting the fix back into Beta mode until they figure out why it works sometimes and doesn't others.

Not sure how big the fire has to be before that happens,  Just off the phone with Dennis Kantor (CRM support moonlighting in Sage 100).  He said he would alert the managers........

Wow, slow day at the Sage support office.  Nathan just called.  We connected to the client's server so he could download an updated PVXIOSVR.EXE (new CSODBC program) and it WORKED!!!

Despite what is happening on the east coast, the west coast folks are on their game.  For those experiencing this issue, it may be due to the pvxiosvr.exe program.  The copy I have is for v2022.  I am not sure if there is a different program for each version
