David - You might just want to start a new thread on your very interesting subject. Sue's idea is very good. Another idea is to use Visual CUT (VC) from Millet Software. It has a key feature called bursting which would be handy if you were to create a custom A/R Aging report that is not worktable driven, and you have a group in the RPT file for the Salesperson No (or a formula for Div + Salesperson No). You would then setup VC to PDF export that report on a schedule but only email send the individual salesperson's data in that group section to their individual email addresses. You would point VC to the email address in the Salesperson Maintenance table.
The normal VC use case scenario is a custom Salesperson Commission report that bursts to each Salesperson No but it could be done for a custom aging report too. Just throwing it out there.

Thanks Susan,
And my apologies for this having the wrong Subject line, I thought that I was creating a new post and somehow replied to the other post.
If someone can take this out of urgent without affecting the original post, please do that!

@David Overholt I did this at one company by creating a different report setting for each salesperson and using Task Schedule to email their copies to them. it's working great. The salesreps don't have access to the report to run it themselves.

Is there a way to restrict a user to just one report selection? I need to make an A/R Aged invoice report that only shows customers for just one salesperson. That is easy enough, but we must make sure he can't select a different report setting or create a new report setting that would allow him to see customers that are not his. I did some searches on 90 minds to see if this topic had come up before and I didn't find anything; but I may not be searching for the correct terminology.

The VI job "running" status is just a checkbox in a table. Locking something needs a running pvx... program I believe... and I've seen a number of sneaky / hidden connections that were hard to break.
A quick check for running pvx... processes, and for any open shared files (in the MAS90 folder), is about as far as I usually go.

Well, nothing was running according to Master Console. However, as I was updating the VI jobs for the new invoice size later, two of the imports said they were still running - but that would have been from years ago. I assume since we've been in AR_Options since then they were not the issue, but I suppose stranger things have happened.

This example is a good reminder to make sure nothing is running when installing anything to a system. If an AR/SO function was open at that exact moment (frozen screen, crashed import, scheduled task...), that could have locked the options table / file.

Good timing - I was just getting ready to post. Jon Reiter connected with me last night and found that the field in the AR_Options file that holds the version for the mod hadn't got added during the install, so it couldn't write the version once the conversion was done. I reinstalled and this time the field got added. All is well now. (And this can be removed from urgent)

Interesting. My expiration date looks ok, but we'll see what happens once this round of "conversion" stops and I try from the Enhancement screen again.

Also be sure there is an expiration date for the enhancement in the DSD Control Panel. I had a similar situation a few weeks ago on a different DSD enhancement. When I registered it the "Registration successful" appeared, and the data conversion successfully finished, yet I kept getting prompted for another data conversion. I needed to get a new enc file / unlocking keys.
