Any Sage report based on a work table has to be re-created from raw data tables, in order to work from Visual Cut.
For the Aged report, don't try to reproduce the Sage report... just do a "now" report, which us usually good enough.

Subject: Is there a way to restrict a user to just one report selection?
@Kevin Moyes,
Is it possible to launch one of the standard Sage reports/report setting from visual cut? There are four reports that this client wants the new salesperson to see.
Sales Order module
- Open Sales Order Report – limit to only see his orders/accounts assigned to him
- Sales Order and Quote History Report – limit to only see his orders/accounts assigned to him
Accounts Receivable module
- Accounts Receivable Aged Invoice Report – limit to only see his orders/accounts assigned to him
- Salesperson Sales History by Period Report – limit to only see his orders/accounts assigned to him
We could easily create 3 of these in Crystal designer starting from scratch, but the AR Aged Invoice Report has proved to be a problem in the past. If I recall, calculating the period balances can be difficult.

A burst Visual Cut report is our usual strategy for this (one report, grouped by SP email...), and push the reports to the right person, and you don't need to be concerned with Sage security on the stock report contents. A technical question for a Salesperson report is whether you use the invoice's SP code, or the customer's SP code... and whether there is a Bill-To relationship to consider...
Edit: ...and if you want an SP specific password on the emailed PDF's, Visual Cut can do that just fine.
