When processing 1099's, Aatrix is now prompting that 1099's are no longer required to be printed on the Red IRS forms. It says it can be printed on plain paper, just like W2's. I'm sure they are right, but I can't find anything on the IRS website, Sage, or Google to confirm that. Many customers have already purchased 1099 forms. Anyone hear anything about this?

Aatrix allows an Excel file to be uploaded.  They have an Excel template that can be completed and uploaded. Tthey then efile and mail the forms to the recipients.  If asked what accounting software you use, choose "other".  here's the link  https://www.aatrix.com/efile/#signup2download
