Two issues - Nadella only oversaw Dynamics for 6 months according to the article. Also all the praise and awe expressed by a partner is pretty typical for the honeymoon period. I have no idea what steady stream of recurring work is being generated by Netsuite but with a big enough company as a customer you can get that with any type of ERP. Very interesting to read the criticism of Dynamics basically just linking to all their existing products vs providing any real product improvements. Sounds an awful lot like the on premises ERP market in general. The overall point of the article is that Dynamics may not be strategic to Microsoft. And I agree with that.
