  • 1.  You do not have security rights to create the record on new install of 2019

    Installing Sage 100 cloud 2019 for customer in preparation for upgrading from 2016.  Use sames keys as are working in 2016, and installer accepted them, but when I try to create a role or user in 2019 I get "You do not have security rights to create the record".  Only KB I can find on this indicates expired subscription put in read only mode, but the portal says their expiration date is 11/28/19 (and 2016 is working).  Anyone seen this before?

    I had this yesterday and resolved it by updating the license keys in Library Master, Setup, System Configuration.  I believe it was the result of the payroll upgrade I did on Sunday night.

    Clicking on System Configuration gives "the encryption key is invalid", even after clicking on PII and entering a new encryption key...

    I believe you will need to convert at least one company, if possible.

    I haven't migrated anything yet, only installed ABX as part of the install, and in company maintenance everything is grayed out other than the company selection lookup...

    MAS90 files marked as Read Only?  Run As Admin?  Using Administrator login?  Perhaps try MAS90 mode (if Advanced / Premium)?  If Premium, are SQL permissions OK?
