  • 1.  WTH - PO Header UDF not in History file?

    On client's machine, if I add a UDF to  PO Header, it does not replicate on the History file.  Am I missing some setup or something?  It does on mine.  I can't even add it manually on theirs.

    What version?  Are they current with their PU's?

    Maybe the mirror table is missing in the dictionary. Did you install a P/O mod? On your own system DFDM Providex.ddf and change Key No to Key Name. Then type in PO_PURCHASEORDER and press Enter. Hit the rt-browse arrow button a few times until you get to PO_PURCHASEORDERHEADER. Look at Field 9. Notice you how see a

    extnTBL.MirrorTable$="PO_PurchaseOrderHistoryHeader"

    Now do same with client's. It sounds like the mirror table entry is missing on their side. Maybe this is also missing for PO_PURCHASEORDERDETAIL

    extnTBL.MirrorTable$="PO_PurchaseOrderHistoryDetail"

    Make a backup of Providex.ddf before you do anything of course. If the mirror tables are missing, easier than DFDM is to add them through the M/D Data Dictionary Maint program so you could contact your M/D type. You could also just reinstall P/O and Product Updates.

    Yup sounds good. Just do DFDM on their system first to verify the mirror table entry to History is in fact missing.

    @Beth Bowers - Do you recall if a re-install fixed this? I'm looking at 2020 and seeing the same thing, but with the detail tables - PO Detail and PO History Detail. ​
