WOW, 3 days of Data conversion.... From SAGE: Hello Partner Community! Due to the rollout of Atlas, the last day to place February orders is Thursday, February 23, 2012. Any orders placed after that date will count toward March revenue. Please note that no orders will be placed on February 24th as we will have a ""dark day"" as we transition to Atlas. In addition, please be aware that there may be delays in order processing for the remainder of the month due to this new system rollout. If you have any questions or if I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Dark day indeed. Looks like I'll have to place my 1,000 orders quickly - or perhaps not at all.

Here is a comment (fairly uncensored) from a client on the move - What's this BS about a new streamlined, self-service website called the Sage Customer Portal becoming available in March? Isn't this the same portal that doesn't work like Sage told us it would and has been around for some time now? I never did get through to FAS support on the issues on FAS 2012, just figured it out myself. My confidence level with Sage is at least better than with our US lawmakers! He has been struggling with the Abra and FAS portals (which he actually uses). Luckily for him, I take care of his needs in the MAS world.

So all Congress has to do is rename its products and screw up its website??

Just in case someone else has this issue wiht FAS and can't get in touch with the support desk. Feedback from my client on his issue with it. You can share my thoughts with Sage but I doubt if it's worth your trouble. The issue with 2012 FAS was that the mouse, scroll bars and almost everything else wouldn't work. It was like the software was set so it did not recognize the mouse. I could do some navigating with the keyboard. Turns out that FAS 2012 doesn't like my display to be set on the custom size of 135%, even though that helps us older folks see all those assets and the rest of the stuff in FAS. When I set the display to one of the standard sizes, 125%, everything worked as would be expected, except my vision, of course.

What I want to know is how did you get him to start paying for his own cell phone?????

I'll let you know once he starts! (He's still in college, graduating this spring.)

And having just spent a long weekend with @JeffSchwenk I can tell you he's closer to 124 than 24.

Poor Jeff - can't see small screens, can't get his kids to pay for their cell phone - and now SLAMMED by @RobertWood.

I highly recommend that you download all activation code information and client information from your current sites so that you can ensure it loads properly to the Atlas solution. It will also be useful if the need comes up while the site is down.

Just took 34 minutes to place an order for additional user licenses for a client.

Now that is a bench mark to aim for. Wonder how long it will stand??? Personally, I would just e-mail the SO folks (Mike, et al) and just let them deal with it.

And the new codes that they provided were incorrect so we are having to deal with that. I don't know why their continued and complete incompetence continues to surprise me. p.s. Jeff we don't jemail and let them deal with it because we have been burned one too many times and have had to eat their mistakes. :-)

Just like ordering a license from SAP. Guess since Atlas is SAP, why expect different. I dread with an SAP client calls to order a license. I make about $300 to spend hours and hours dealing with their crappy web portal, upload spreadsheets etc. I laugh every time I hear 'the best run businesses run SAP.."". I guess SAP isn't the best run business...

You forgot the entire statement. 'the best run businesses run SAP and hate every minute of it..
