Wouldn't you know it!! I have a client that actually LOOKS at the inventory turn report. Now he is asking SILLY questions like, how does it work because it doesn't seem to make sense? I'll look into the exact dates but I wonder if they are turning it too fast for MAS to calculate.
Note from the client:
Can you explain how we can sell products without being credited for any inventory turns? In the cases shown below, inventory was purchased/received prior to the sales order being shipped back out; there are however other parts in which the receipt and sales order were done the same day. The result in either case is no turns being recorded. Is ""Average Inventory"" only just looking at the quantity on hand at the end of each month instead of doing a daily inventory average? It appears that MAS is doing something to this effect. Since the overall items sold and items issued are used in the calculation for total inventory turns I want to ensure that the numbers are not being skewed, which right now they are.
Anyone ever run into these types of questions before?
