X-REF to Sage KB entry that I stumbled across today which indicates:
you can remove the autoupdater.6.00.ini file from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Sage\Common Components folder to force workstation synchronization.
Copy of full text from the Sage KB:
If the AutoUpdate 6.00.mas.log.txt file on the workstation indicates that 90wres32.dll and pvxwin32.exe files did NOT copy, you can remove the autoupdater.6.00.ini file from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Sage\Common Components folder to force workstation synchronization.
Workaround: an older workaround (for Sage 100 2018.4) was to copy the SageU.bmp that got installed to the server and copy to the workstation's ..\mas90\home\lib\_BMP folder. Unfortunately, the Sageu.bmp file is no longer located in that folder with other BMP files with later versions of Sage 100 so the file may not exist in either workstation or server folder.
Note: For Sage 100 Advanced trying to run in MAS90/Standard mode, on versions before Sage 100 2020, it is possible to choose Classic desktop rather than Standard desktop to allow it to launch this way or run Sage 100 Advanced normally - not in MAS90 mode - to avoid the errors. (in Sage 100 2020 and later, Classic desktop option in no longer available). Or it may be necessary to uninstall the Sage 100 Advanced workstation and reinstall - see Related Resources.
