Working with an existing Sage 100 ERP v4.3 to 2014 upgrade. In attempting to upgrade VI jobs for payroll I'm receiving ""Job validations contain obsolete file references that no longer exist in the dictionary. Job will be deleted"". I am aware that there existed a prior product defect with Sage where certain PR VI jobs would not compile without removing validation. This appears to be a different issue because even if I create a fresh new VI job for PR in 2014 I'm getting this error from Sage. One of the Sage KB entries suggests restoring SY0DCT.SOA which is not all that helpful if you are doing an upgrade and therefore have no prior backups. Has anyone experienced this and is there a workaround or should I just install locally to my own computer and copy the SY0DCT to the customer site?

Unless they're using Job Cost, delete the JC references in validations even if you're creating a new job.

Looks like that did it - could swear I tried this 3-5x without luck

Here is a DSD Tip from Jim Woodhead that talks about deleting a Check_Bank_Code validation.

Thanks deleted the JC validation and the Check Bank Code (then re-adding) worked
