Sage 100

Working on a Sage 100 v4.3 to 2013 upgrade. Install Sage 100 2013 and can go in and look at ABC data no problem. Migrate Sage 100 ERP v4.3 and on first attempt to get into system ""Sage 100 ERP Has Stopped working

Still working this - there are a couple complicating factors: 1. Customer had Payroll module which they had removed from Sage maintenance and I had to remove that form the live company prior to migration. I don't think this is the cause as I'd already removed prior to migration. 2. Customer had been using Timekeeper but discontinued it. I did NOT remove this module prior to migration HOWEVER Sage does balk at converting data on the other side and prompts you to reinstall any third parties that you didn't remove prior to migrating. My current suspect is something to do with #2 above. I was able to workaround the error by creating a new user code in the 2013 company and logging in that way. Not sure why it didn't error with the new code though I still suspect maybe something to do with TK not being installed in 2013 but data migrating.

Problem is recurring - I strongly suspect the Hightower TK module (no longer in use but attempted removal) but unfortunately the error is so generic it could be anything.

Run as Administrator seems to be resolving this particular issue - I'm remoted into the server and working on the desktop.

This has become a recurring problem where immediately after login (even after right click run as admin) I get ""Sage ERP 100 has stopped working"". I had it running fairly regularly without error. Re-ran workstation setup, install Crystal and now the error is back even when running as admin.

How about this one? Thanks this is the avenue I was just starting to look at. I added the Launch32 (would not allow the Pvx2in32 for some reason). Was able to go in without error. Not sure if it will stick but I will update - thanks!
