Working on a Sage 100 ERP v2014 with PU1. Trying to install Crystal off the source disk (which I've synchronized via Dropbox). When I autorun - run as administrator and select productivity apps from the Sage 100 source disk and attempt to install Crystal it prompts me with #ChooseSetupLanguage# and the options are blank (pull down) and noting can be entered. There are two buttons #Ok# and #Cancel#. Also cannot bypass Autorun and go straight to Crystal 2011. The setup.exe in that folder produces the same result.

And I have no idea how this was submitted as an idea. I'm typing from a customers computer on-site.

Researching via Google uncovers at least one other report related to user rights. I'm told that I am admin on the server so rights is not my first guess at what's gone south.

Are you local admin or domain admin? It could still be rights.

I get the error when I sitting on the local machine. I'm not sure the customer has semi-pro IT support that is basically break-fix.

Copied the install disks to local - still gives me the same problem. Run as administrator via Autorun. Also does the same by running setup.exe. I'm using the disk out of the Dropbox for 2014 so I can't rule out that there's some problem with the source disk since it's my first 2014.

Did you run the Autorun by right clicking and choosing ""Run as Administrator""?

This might be a damaged or incomplete 2014 source disk. I sync'd the 2013 install and was able to run crystal 2011 from there.

Or it could be this issue where you extracted your 2014 image to a folder that was ""too deep"" - https://90minds-com.socialcast.com/messages/20379780

Thanks Alnoor - I haven't been able to fully test because I already have Crystal 2011 on my office PC so running the install prompts for reinstall/repair. I was able to run Sage 100 2014 install - just not the Crystal. And sadly, but not unexpectedly, the Sage site has a very narrow set of browsers it will support if you try to re-download. This customer was on IE 11 and I'm not about to rip that out and install some earlier version so I can re-download 2014 --- -and then be blamed by the customer for every stray error message that pops up on their other software.

I just tried with IE 11. The 2014 download works for me when I add sagenorthamerica.com to the Compatibility View settings

i can get through to the site (portal) - when I go to the download page it complains about not having the latest .NET (I think that was the pre-req).
