Working on a mid year conversion to MAS 90 and am in the process of trying to balance the employee quarterly totals to the 941. There were eight employees that had incorrect QTD FICA totals so client just used the ""FIX"" button to correct in employee maintenance. Now we need to regenerate the 941 totals as it doesn't appear that the form regenerates when you run it. Is there a secret to regenerate the totals? Thanks in advance.

Is this what you're looking for? http://infosource.sagesoftwareonline.com/sw_attach/kdb.asp?isresolutionconceptid=400750 To modify the 941 Form Using PRZDRR: At File/Run type: PRZDRR and press 'Enter'. Enter information to the following fields: Subject to W/H: Enter the total amount of wages subject to withholding. This amount is composed of all taxable wages including tips subject to withholding and other compensation subject to withholding. This figure prints on line 2 of the 941 Form. Total Taxable FICA: Enter the total amount of wages subject to Social Security tax. This amount includes all tip wages subject to Social Security tax. This figure is the total of lines 6a and 6b on the 941 Form. Taxable FICA Tips: Enter the total amount of tip wages that are subject to Social Security tax. This amount is for tips only. This figure prints on line 6b of the 941 Form. Taxable Medicare: Enter the total amount of wages subject to Medicare tax. This amount includes tip wages subject to Medicare tax. This figure prints on line 7 of the 941 Form. Total Income Tax: Enter the total amount of income tax withheld. This amount includes income tax withheld from wages, tips, pensions, annuities, sick pay, gambling, etc. This is the figure that will print on line 3 of the 941 Form. EIC payments: Enter the total amount of advanced Earned Income Credit payments that have been made to employees. This amount must be entered as a negative number. This is the figure that will print on line 15 of the 941 Form. Date Wages paid Month I / Month II / Month III: Enter the amount of tax liability by date range for each month of the quarter. The eight date ranges (1-3., 4-7, 8-11, 12-15, 16-19, 20-22, 23-25, and 26-last) are numbered fields 7 through 30. For example, if entering amounts for the second quarter and the pay dates were Apr. 5, Apr. 19, May 3, May 17, May 31, June 14, and June 28 the entries would be to field numbers 8, and 11, for the first month; fields 15, 19, and 22 for the second month; and fields 26 and 30 for the third month. When entries are complete, the CORRECT? prompt will display. Answer Y to accept the information displayed. The records will be written out to the PRR file and you will be returned to the menu at which you first entered this program. Answer N to change any of the information displayed. Type UNDO to return all of the fields displayed to their original value. Note: Once the user answers Y, the information displayed on the screen is written to the PRR file and replaces the current quarter record.

Kinda Sorta ..... This is the back door fix to the 941. We modified the federal numbers via the fix button in employee maintenance for 8 people and want to recalc the 941 file based on the information in PR3. Is there a utility that will do this?

Ended up not changing the 941 as we had it from the other system. Just verified the the W-2 totals reflected the correct totals.
