  • 1.  Work Order Posting Interrupted

    Work Order has this quirk about quantities >99,999 -- it can't seem to post them. I have a user who tried to do this and the update task just hangs. There is a KB article (#78264) that says split the WO into multiple entries as a workaround. Not great, but OK. Now, how do we reset the message that says "Update Interrupted. Do you want to restart?" If you click No, nothing happens; click Yes, and the update hangs again because the large data is still sitting out there. Tried file rebuilds and clearing out WOK, but still says Update Interrupted. Do we have to reinitialize all the data entry files?

    I don't have a way to easily duplicat this and test, so it is from memory. I think you need to use DFDM to look at the first record in WORxxx  I think you will find it is a restart record.  if you delete that then it should let you back into the entry, but if part of it has posted already. I'm not sure what kind of mess that partial posting will cause.
