    Anyone  have and willing to share the WO installer for V2022.  I am trying to start an upgrade and Sage can't get me the installer till Monday.  I was hopeful to convert this weekend.

    Thanks in advance

    Trying to obtain Work Order keys for v2022 but Sage is saying the client needs to first purchase Prod Mgmt.  Is this something new?

    Maybe try someone else at Sage?  Seems strange if they already own the WO module.  Maybe it is new for v2022.

    The reason they are telling you this is because production management is required to bring in work order dat in. Work order will convert itself into production management data when you tell it to, but it is absolutely. Required.  There is no more work order.   Now, if the user is an operations management user, then production management absolutely will not be installed, because the two cannot be together. However, as we all know work order data cannot be converted into operations management. Should they choose operations management, all the work order data would have to be brought in via VI and or manually. I just ran into this wall, so yeah, those are the answers.

    @Brett Zimmerman - You should be able to get it without buying PM. I would say ask Linda Cade, but if she is gone, try Mike Ritchie. Someone higher up the ladder knows what to do.

    Agree with Karen.  I think if you call Mike Ritchie, you should be able to get an unlocking key.  I've been told that you have to have a reason for not upgrading them to PM (such as program mods), but that indeed you can still get an unlocking key for WO if you have that reason.

    Thanks!  Linda has been on the thread but she hasn't chimed in.  Actually I just realized it's because they're on Perpetual, incl 'it will mirror the Sage 100 user license, this is specific to Sage 100 Perpetual as Subscription is different'.  Sounds like PM annual is around $900 or so.  We'll see.

    @Carmen Cruz, above where you mentioned, "There is no more work order", I'm guessing you didn't mean that literally? - since Sage does allow usage of W/O in v2022 if client not yet ready for Prod Mgmt.

    I got an exception for a user about 6 months ago.  Sage supplied unlocking keys that allowed use of the WO module and they did not have to pay for PM.  I had to give Sage the business reason why they weren't going to PM first.

    @Brett Zimmerman
    Thank you so much for the information on Work Order.  I had no idea that could be done and has no been loaded into my Memory Banks.    I just had a client choose on a recent upgrade.  Good thing is they are going to OM and would be forced to give up that data anyways but it is great to know there is an alternative for those who are not and want their WO data.

    Thank you you ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
