Good morning guys. I have reviewed the relevant posts from earlier and think I know the answer but I want to get confirmation.
Customer is using work order with a variable overhead rate/hour. This works fine when I use the planned cost from the operation code. Now customer wants to add the actual labor hours using a crew but the rate for the employees and crew is intentionally $0 for now. (They want to track actual hours only and not have the hours affect costing.)
When I have the variable overhead set at Rate/Hour, it calculates overhead on materials and on the crew labor hours. I don't want the crew labor hours to affect variable overhead. Is there a setting that I am missing?
I can recalculate to use % of cost, but I would prefer not to recalc everything.
