With whom are you working for X3 referrals?

Larry - I believe that the two highest quality partners in the X3 channel are NexTec and RKL. We work with both and are extremely pleased with each of them. NexTec is more West Coast, and RKL is more East Coast, so you might want to use RKL unless you frequently bump heads with them in the D.C. area. We have negotiated special referral agreements with both firms, and I know that they'll work with you in giving you a fair finder's fee for any leads you give them that close. Best, Doug

BTW, we have also used SWK and have also negotiated a referral agreement with them. If you've had good experience with SWK and with their products and support, then you might want to consider them.

Do you know if there is any tier from Sage when you refer to a partner. Of course Sage indicated I could work directly with them and I am assuming that would eliminate a need for a reseller.

As of last year, they were still honoring the cross-platform referral program when you refer an X3 lead to one of the three consultants I gave you. I believe that program gives you a portion of the full sale amount as tier credit. That percentage keeps going down, and Donna Whats-her-name who was in charge of X3 wanted to get rid of it altogether. You know how Sage is - things change monthly. I strongly suggested that you talk to your RSM to find out what the current cross-platform tier credit is. That's the only way to know for sure.

@LarryBradford - I know that SWK does great work with X3 and has a generous referral program that piggy backs on to the Sage referral program. @JeffRoth is a member of 90 Minds and can probably best advise on what they offer and how they will take care of your client.

Larry, a few of our offices have had great success referring X3 prospects to SWK. They do great work and likely have more X3-dedicated staff on their team than any other reseller in the channel.
