I just had a customer where I could not connect via GotoAssist. This is not all that unusual in high security environments where the employee may not have the rights to download whatever client is needed to their desktop.
IT had me use Quick Assist which apparently is a new Windows 10 program where you can either invite someone to your computer or control someone else's computer.
It seemed to work quite well. I had to give them the connection code and then had 10 minutes for them to connect.
Have you tried this Quick Assist before?
Are there any hidden gotcha's? ( aside from it requiring Windows 10 )
