  • 1.  Will Sage print 1099 for 2017?

    Unfortunately, I can't test 1099 filing on the customer's system ( efiling must be installed with admin privileges) and my system doesn't have older data.

    Customer is undergoing an IRS audit and has to print/file a number of 1099 forms for 2017
    Will Aatrix support printing the prior year 1099?  Electronically filing them?

    I think the answer is yes but wondering if anyone has had to do this for a prior year.

    I would be concerned whether you can get forms dated for 2017.  If you try to proceed without downloading new forms, it says they'll be marked Expired and you can't file.  When I try to produce for 2017, it tells me the forms are 2018 and may be incorrect.

    I'd use Adam's Tax forms if they still have <g class="gr_ gr_439 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar only-ins replaceWithoutSep" id="439" data-gr-id="439">2017</g> version.  You can import the data from <g class="gr_ gr_406 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="406" data-gr-id="406"><g class="gr_ gr_430 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar only-ins replaceWithoutSep" id="430" data-gr-id="430">csv</g></g> or Excel file.

    Thanks, I updated this customer's eFiling last night and the 1099 forms definitely want to print to 2018. It looks like there is no option for printing 2017 1099 forms within Sage.
