The Sage meeting at the fall collaborative wasn't very good.

Robert is being very kind. The Sage meeting at the fall collaborative was a complete waste of time. I've also been very disappointed in the ITA registration process recently. Promised room blocks suddenly aren't available (we tripled up last ITA) and the agenda during the fall conference had some of the lamest panels that I've seen. It was as if the group had no idea what they were presenting and had nothing to say. And they repeated the same basic panel 3x. The keynote presentations are great if you're looking to sit through a third tier motivational speaker that someone saw once three years ago at some conference they went to. I'd much rather have industry focused sessions but for some reason the keynotes are generic. This years topics also seem lame. There's one day of ""differentiate or die"" --- which shit if you're not doing something different by now you are dying already. I love the concept of ITA and getting most of the key IT players together in one place. I will probably get back to the next one but this time around I'm sitting the collaborative out.
