Who can I speak to or is certified in RenovoFyi ? I have a client that loves FRX and has many Tree's and they would like to look at RenovoFyi. Any help with this would be appreciated.

I have a similar situation but am waiting for the year-end to settle down. I'd suggest a group demo but all my experience is that FRX users will attend the demo then want a one-on-one to ask all sorts of questions which sort of negates the benefit of a group demo.

Sage Intelligence has a conversion tool for FRx trees, so don't count it out. And the trees are pretty easy to work with in SI.

Thanks Moira but I heard SI does not do the trees great! She has a lot of levels. I could be wrong since I really don't know SI well. Just going on what I heard.

Renovo runs on a SQL back end and I believe requires data in SQL, so there is some extra work involved if not on Premium... but thankfully DSD has a lite version of their SQL mirroring software for Renovo (only including the required tables). (I've only been involved with one installation / conversion, and Renovo did all the report conversion, and the customer dealt with them directly for demo / training purposes).

I think she is more post-sales / implementation, but should be able to point you in the right direction.

Just my two cents, if it's not too late, but SI trees are actually quite well done.

@DianeRuth if you are still considering Renovo, I know of an independent consultant who is very versed in it and has also done multi-company consolidations in Renovo.

We've had to implement Renovo for two clients in cases where SBI wouldn't serve. In one case, the database size would have made it far too slow. We got SQL mirroring for it, too. From DSD. We have one staff member well versed.
