Which ERP should be next for the ERP insider series? Epicor, Acumatica, xTuple, MS Dynamics, Infor, SysPro???

    Of those, I say Acumatica!

Good idea. Looked through the Acumatica groups on SC for presenter ideas. These members are pretty active in SC Acumatica groups - Shawn Slavin, Michael Nottoli, Scott Hickman, Bob Kohlmeyer, Cooper Black and Melissa Secody. Any preference?

Personally I have always been very impressed with Bob K. Any of those would be good, but I would also recommend we consider their activity level. We may want someone who we think can contribute more who has not met our expectations of thier capability.

@JohnHoyt and @JohnShaver what are your thoughts?

I'm only familiar with 4 of the 6. I'll ask Bob first and see if he is interested. If not, we have 5 others to ask too.

The knowledge level is relatively high within the group for Acumatica, so I'm not sure it adds much. Infor is making a lot more inroads and I encounter them more and more in the market, so I would like to know more about them. Although xTuple is in the group and there are a couple resellers, I don't consider them to be a major player. Epicor and Syspro are very specific in their focus and we hardly ever encounter them, so the interest may not be very high. Microsoft is coming out with a lot of new things and it is embedded in Office 365, so it becomes something our customers will be looking at and has been very similar in the past to Sage 100 and 300. We should be watching them and know what is going on.

Agreed with Gary regarding Acumatica. Michael N would make a great presenter if Bob K isn't willing to do it.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Looks like Acumatica is the next in the series, I'll contact Bob.

That's OK, I'm normally marching to a different drummer!

I think you have heard the Acumatica drumbeat more than others... Many are still considering, some have tried and dropped, others are diving in.

@JohnHoyt I hope you know that I value your ideas for the next in the series too! While we do have a pretty good presence of Acumatica reps in the group, with Sage's acquisition of Intacct there is a market for 90 Minders for presenting all the 'cloud' products in the sequence of related competitors.

Based on my comment, then Infor and Microsoft may be in line for future sessions. Mark would probably love to do a session on Epicor. That would be valuable for prospects we find that are beyond our capabilities.

Agree Mark best for Epicor, and possible Eric for MS.

Bob Kohlmeyer declined for Acumatica presenter. How about either Mike Notolli or Rob Neal or? Yes, Shawn Slavin would be great too. In the intereste of spreading participation, just thinking of others that might be good as well.

The 3 mentioned are all very active with Acumatica. Another one is Scott Hickman. He was instrumental in adding the Acumatica spaces in Socialcast.

I forgot about Scott, and that makes on the SC groups since he's on the membership committee. I think I'll reach out to Mike first, he's not presented before and has been pretty regular about attending 90 Minds events.
