Where is the logic?? One of my hardware support companies referred a v3.4 MAS user to me. Apparently, they are installing a WIN 2008 SBS server which will not support their 12 (?) year old version of MAS so they are thinking about upgrading. So I send a note to Sage to figure out the pricing situation (see discussion below). So when they respond with the pricing (SBE 5 User), they also say I have to get the ROR changed. No problem as that will be the next step if they are serious using BLS to do the upgrade.
But then I started thinking. If Sage is going to treat this new license revenue, then why do I have to bother with an ROR? Doesn't by definition, a new license sale mean there is NO existing ROR????
I suppose I shouldn't be supprised..................
