Where do we stand on the Sage Summit pre-conference session? Based on Sage not posting any detailed advanced information about Summit technical content I'm leaning toward presuming that it's probably not coming anytime soon and that there's no pre-conference training or Sage would advertise it as people need to book airfare/hotel. Also we want to be able to give a go/no-go on our event relatively soon so our people can book airfare and hotel if they are going to attend. @JimWoodhead - any update on hotel room costs? @ThereseLogeais - any discussions with Alnoor or Eric about the classes ? Seems like 35 paid attendees is the magical breakeven. I have the budget posted in Google Apps/Drive here -- you should be able to view/edit with your logins: https://docs.google.com/a/community.90minds.com/spreadsheets/d/1wMinNRwvf_Y2xoHJoaKW9gN227CH5etdGc0bCANmbqo/edit#gid=0

Based on the poll activity to date, we may have to limit the class size as I am not sure what the presenters comfort level is for the number of students in a hands on class. It could get chaotic if the crowd is large and hungry for knowledge.

Do we have all of the budgetary information?

Therese do you know if that would also include travel? I'm in the wrong business.

This is now approximately $900 per person / 15 class minimum break-even on scripting. $400 per person and 20 person minimum on SI. I suspect most members will become antsy about booking hotel and airfare so the length of time we have to get sign-ups is probably fairly short -- May 15? With the exception of administrative costs (which I strongly feel must be included) I don't think we have any fixed costs that were being defrayed by holding two classes v one. My WAG is that if we go with just SI that the cost per attendee will work out to somewhere in the $550 range if we had 20. I'll re-work the budget worksheet to get a better estimate so we know what we'd be dealing with if only the SI was held.

Early registration for Sage Summit ends May 16. That is a Friday so I would think our deadline should be in advance of that and provide us enough time to discuss -- so I'd suggest the Friday before - May 9, 2014.

No, that was in addition to travel expenses.

@JimWoodhead are there limits regarding number of people (attendees) per room? Just wondering if we need to limit registrations.

As of now if we presume the following attendance: 15 for Scripting 20 for Sage intelligence If both course are held our break-even is : Scripting: $ 921.33/ea Sage Intelligence: $ 433.74 If we cost the courses independently meaning only one would be held but we don't know which: Scripting: $ 970.67 /ea Sage Intelligence: $ 446.75 /ea

I thought I had posted this but we are a go with rooms at Luxor. We have a $2000 minimum to meet. (which wont be an issue.) If we need 2 rooms on Sunday. We will need to pay an additional $500 plus an additional $495 for AV. I've updated the budget accordingly.

Wifi is included but is only meant for email and light surfing. If We need high speed internet for presentation it is $40 per device per day

    That's plenty @JimWoodhead . I don't think either of them want 40 students!!
