When was the last time we received an email about a product enhancement? To read the titles of these sessions you'd start to believe that the ability to pay monthly instead of lump sum - is a product enhancement. Clearly it seems that Sage is setting us up for the time when they plan to go 100% subscription pricing. Do we really need an online session to teach us to multiple $ 110 times the number of users? Or is the seminar really to convince us that the new model is: Sage makes margin on software and some services Consultant makes margin on services ...until the next time earnings slow and Sage offers more bundled services I personally find it quite a bit easier to quote $ x per user per month vs having to send an email to multiple people and do an analysis on which of the current three pricing models (user, module, subscription) is best. As of now Sage have not removed complexity from their pricing - they've just changed it. For existing customers the change is going to be a price increase. I'm not totally sold that existing customers are going to find the new subscription pricing attractive - but we shall see.

Enhancement? What's an enhancement? I see many opportunities for enhancements on the Idea web site, but no progress on them. To paraphrase, ""Enhancements sell, bull shit is just another way of spelling Sage
