Sage 100

When trying to install the Sage 100 2018 Standard 64-bit ODBC driver on workstations the install is failing. We get a message that a Sage 100 installation cannot be found. The workstation setup is installed and working. I was able to install this on the server. Any ideas?

Standard or advanced? Did it ask you for a path?

Possibly permissions on the workstation? Must be a local admin.

Standard version and install does not ask for path. Used a domain admin user to install and did not work.

Did you install via a path or a UNC. Try a mapped drive.

I have tried logging in as the domain administrator and as a local administrator. I have tried using a mapped drive and the UNC path. Nothing is working.

UAC off? Did the 32-bit ODBC driver get installed properly? (And you've confirmed it is actually a 64-bit operating system)? Perhaps a required registry key isn't being created for some reason.

The UAC is off. The 32-bit installed properly. It is a 64-bit operating system. Installed station workstation setup logged in administrator.

I would uninstall and reinstall the Workstation setup.

Make sure you use the Autorun.exe to install the Workstation. My guess is the C++ and .net didn't install correctly.
