When running Sage 100 Advanced on a Windows 2008 or later server, we have constant issues with pop up messages titled ""Interactive Services Detection"" all the time. They point to providex but I don't think it is the actual server process but rather I think it is ""Sage Advisor"". My questions are 1) what is causing this and 2) what does everyone else do to keep them from popping u all the time?

I shut the service off for the Sage Advisor. There was a post a couple weeks back on the topic.

I'm having this issue also. I had already uninstalled Sage Advisor from the server but that didn't help. Now I'm wondering if it has to do with the ""interact with desktop"" setting inside the Service. It's currently enabled and we continue to get the ""interactive services detection"" error/message. So I'm going to disable that setting. I'm guessing we could switch to running as an Application, but that's not really the route we want to go. @ShawnSlavin, did uninstalling Sage Advisor resolve it for you?

I should also point out that even though the ""interact with desktop"" setting is enabled inside the Service, the Appl Serv isn't showing on the server's Windows taskbar. I just disabled that setting, but the error/message is still appearing. I think we may need to shut down the Service and re-start it.
