    That would be a component item quantity required on a work order I believe.

    Actually any commitment other than SO. So RMA, BOM or PO return might cause this.

    Customer insists there are no orders or other commitments for an item showing a quantity committed. How would you go about reconciling this (besides manually adjusting through DFDM)?

    Okay, so I released it through DFDM but there is only a Qty Committed field in the IM_ItemCost table. How is it calculating it for that screen???

    This is a lot issue, not a ItemCost issue so you need to look at anything that might allocate lots.

    Check the quantity fields in the IM_ItemWarehouse file
