When creating a VI job in good ol' Work Order module, is there any way to get fields to default in from elsewhere in the system? I'm importing material issues into WO Transaction Entry. So examples would inlcude choose the next transaction number, default to today's work date, take the item unit of measure, warehouse, or cost type off the Item master. File Assign is one of the options, but then there are no tables listed in the lookup and anything I try to type is gives an error. Any assistance is appreciated!

I'm not sure why you are not seeing other files when you do a file assign. I tested Item_um field and did a file assign and I see several files. you might try File > Run and type in SVCMPL and run that for work order or all tables and see if that helps.
