What's the secret for getting the cdintf300.dll file registered on a Win 7 64-bit machine? I keep turning it over to IT to get it done, but none of them will tell me the secret. One said he just did it from RUN and that didn't work for me, either. Another said he used CMD and did it from the DOS prompt and that ALSO did not work for me. Neither had to do it as Admin.

You have to use the regsvr32 from the Windows\SysWow64 folder.

Well, color me stupid. I never even looked to see if one existed there. I'm going to go hide under the bed for a while until my face quits flaming.

Nah! It is just MS being stupid.

So the secret is to ask here so that someone like @RobertWood can tell you just what you need @BethBowers!

I can't wait until everything is 64 bit and we can be done with this 32 bit, 64 bit nonsense!

Then they'll be working on 128 bit.

Also be sure you are logged in as the local Administrator
