    What's the best virtual environment to use to stage multiple copies of Sage100 so that I can take a snapshot and when done working just restore it to where I began?

    If you have Windows 10, I would use Hyper-V since it's built right in. You can create a VM just the way you like it and then use Checkpoints to perform the snapshots.

    Thanks, Steve. That's what I was thinking. The laptop I bought came with Windows 10 Home and I'm considering upgrading to Pro for $99 which would add Hyper-V

    The other (free) option is VirtualBox (https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads) which also offers snapshots.

    There is a cost, but VMware workstation is the best tool for this. ($249 list)
