What's new in Sage 100 ERP slide deck

@JeffSchwenk - were you on the call? Lori mentioned enhancements coming from the idea web site at least 5 times...

Well couldn't Sage also post the enhancements themselves? I love how she mentioned at one point that some enhancement ""didn't take a lot of R&D"" ... which personally I think is high on Sage's checklist of requirements for adding a new feature..

I think she was claiming there were some in 2013, and more in 2014.

Lori acted as though Sage 100 is still a strategic product and not in ""maintenance mode"". I guess they haven't told her yet that we're supposed to upgrade these clients to Sage 300 and X3.

Why start today what you may not be around to complete tomorrow?:-)

And if you look at slide #3 Sage 300 isn't even in the portfolio anymore...

@JohnHoyt Interesting that 300 and 500 weren't on the map. I took that to mean that the official path that Sage maps for 100 customers is 100--> X3. Problem in my mind is many in the channel were here for 100-->500 and are probably aware of just how well that migration worked out and are none too eager to subject good customers to yet another migration.

I take it Lori wanted to minimize any controversy and concentrate on all the great features being added to Sage 100.

Not to steal any of Lori's thunder, but I wonder which ideas were tapped for the traveling team. The sheer quantity of ideas (1400 +) just boggles my mind....... Where to begin, where to begin????

You're right @JeffSchwenk it is the same - or at least VERY similar - to the one we saw at Summit....

And if it weren't for a Sage employee going rogue, there wouldn't be SMTP paperless solution in this release either....

I would have loved to have been in on that presentation yesterday, but alas, I'm still not getting all the Sage emails. (I've a bulging folder of attempts to rectify this matter) Could we please have a posting of these somewhere here on Oasis so the rest of us that don't get all the invites/news from Sage could know in advance about these events?

The only announcements that I hear are when they are posted here in 90 Minds SocialCast. Grrrr.... I'm already in a foul mood today so I'm going to bite my tongue here.

@WayneSchulz - Thank you very much for this. I have zero confidence in Sage fixing their email issues (it's been going on for three months) so this will be extremely useful. You continue to prove yourself to be a gentleman and a scholar and all-around prince among men.

Thank you @WayneSchulz , I see all the news now! Evernote looks like it will replace my post note habit too! Poor 3m I was such a loyal user of their products.

@MoiraGoggin Let me know if you adopt Evernote and I can share that notebook as well as my Sage 100 KB. Goes for anyone else using Evernote.
