    Bug Fixes & Known Issues

    • Item Maintenance Hangs - Sage identified a bug where Item Maintenance hangs after modifying Extended Descriptions when user roles are set to "Modify and View Only." Ensure full access permissions for anyone editing these fields until a future update resolves this.

    • Duplicate Job Cost Transactions - A data integrity issue in multi-user environments can cause the Daily Job Transaction Register to double-post entries when two users update separate batches simultaneously. Limit batch updates to one person at a time. A permanent fix is scheduled for mid-April 2026.

    • Missing Ship-To Address Prompt in v2025 - Version 2025 fails to display the prompt for new ship-to addresses during Sales Order Entry. A pre-release fix is available now for users who sign a Pre-Release Agreement with Sage Support. Permanent fix expected mid-April 2026.

    Product News

    • AI Help Agent - A new English-language AI assistant is now available for Sage 100 (versions 2023.0 or newer) and Sage 300. Access it through the product Information Center or via a dedicated online portal.

    • Administrator Password Reset - Users who forget their administrator password must have a valid subscription or work with a Sage partner to request a reset. Or, 90 Minds members use this shortcut as documented in our content library here.

    • Windows 11 Smart App Control - Windows 11 security may block the Sage 100 workstation setup when loading certain .dll files. Permanently disabling Smart App Control in Windows Security settings resolves the issue.
