Here's what caught my attention last week - from my Schulz Says Thursday newsletter and the usual Sage channels. I'll post these on Tuesdays from now on. Standard disclaimer: my opinions/views, not 90 Minds or anyone else. Email me directly with any updates/changes/corrections or just post corrections here.

Watching: Employee missing from W2 and quarterly tax report after year end

Employee data is missing from the W2 and quarterly tax report after running year-end close. Detail drill-down records are incorrectly purged when running year-end close in Payroll. The workaround is to restore or use a year-end backup copy company.

Payroll fix adds nontaxable overtime check printing option

Program fix PR2260-02T introduces a checkbox to print nontaxable overtime on payroll checks. This only displays when overtime was calculated as nontaxable during the payroll run. (H/T - Jeff Schwenk)
