What would this mean?? ""Unable to print AP_Check1.rpt. The operation completed successfully."" No, it didn't! Customer was printing about 20 checks but it only printed six then this popped up. Twice. At the same check. Check looks fine in Check Maintenance (i.e. no invalid date, etc.) but I can't get past this. I can preview them just fine. Tried exporting, printing to XPS document, etc. No luck. Thoughts?

I have been randomly getting the same thing at my client. I threw it back on IT because it's random, they are on load balancing terminal servers, etc. But would be nice to find out if it really is my problem. If so, I might have to apologize!

If I am remembering correctly my client had this issue and I found out that they deleted a record and it really didn't delete. Look in DFDM to see if all is ok. I don't remember what version they were on.

Did this client recently get upgraded? Does the same thing happen with a ""Standard"" check form?

And have they deleted it and put it back in?

I'm going to clear it out and see what may be left hanging.

Does this particular check run over to the extended stub report? Like Shannon said, I would try the Standard check format.

Had you performed the formula tweaks as part of the upgrade, assuming this is an upgrade? Similar to @ShannonSadowsky, I suggest trying a fresh out-of-the-box .rpt.

No, I think @DianeRuth and @BethBowers may be onto the issue. I cleared the selection, verified there was nothing remaining, then reselected invoices for the particular vendor it hung on. They had six invoices but I know they only selected three originally. Since they were not in sequence, I'm guessing they deleted/re-added/did something odd. They also had a negative selection which I thought was the issue but I deleted that one and it didn't resolve it. Will let you know if it goes well or not.

It's not an upgrade. They have been on 2014 for quite a while now. The first six checks printed just fine each time they restarted so it has to be related to this particular vendor. I wish there was something similar to the Analyze and Relink utility...

Mine is a recent upgrade from 4.50 to 2015, 35 companies, has happened twice and in different companies. Will have them try to clearing the selection and starting over, did the check form tweaks (although I'll verify this again in these companies). Hard to try a fresh out of the box unless we did it at the time of the error as it's random. When I tossed it back to IT to elevate permissions, I haven't heard back so wondering now if permissions could be an issue since the upgrade, but that doesn't explain Therese's problems.

Gotta love the error though. ""The operation completed successfully."" Really???

Are the checks marked as Electronic Payments?

I have gotten this and I had to reprint the checks that were missing....check the print checks already printed and assign the check number...it will go thru...

I reset the form to the out of the box version - usually resolves once you get everything printed. Noticed more companies are doing ACH and select regular invoices for check payment but a ACH invoice slips in and the chose to print checks only not Both and that has the user confused why they cannot post because they think everything printed. blabla

I connected with the actual AP clerk, cleared her selections and watched her do her normal routine. When it came time to print, it was the STANDARD check form. I told her to switch to the one I had created and all went well. Strange thing is, we tested on plain paper then went back in to reprint them and the form defaulted to STANDARD again. I'm fairly certain there was a post about this at some point but why wouldn't it save the form used for her???

Which check form is set for the bank code?

They only have one bank code and no, it did not hold when I was logged in and testing.

In Bank Code maintenance in AP, there is Default Form Code. Maybe someone changed the setting there.
