Sage 100

What would be the best/easiest/fastest way to copy the SAGE 100 ERP 2013 DVD installation files (including CR2011 and eFiling & Reporting, etc.) remotely to a location on a client's server. A) Via GoToAssist and copy a Zip file of the installation DVD located on my computer. B) Via GoToAssist and download a Zip file of the installation DVD via a DropBox account. C) Via GoToAssist and download the individual folders and files on the installation DVD D) Connected to clients server via GoToAssist and download the installation DVD from the SAGE partner of customer portal. E) Others?

I split them into multiple zip files. One for CR. One for CRM. One for MAS/Sage 100. I keep them in Dropbox and log into their system and download them from Dropbox.

I usually use E but B works

I try to avoid uploads from my workstation as the upload speeds are slower than download. So B and D would be first thoughts

I create a folder in Dropbox called Upgrades. In there are all the source files that I may need - including Starship, FRX, FRX PU. From there you can directly download the folders one by one, send links and have IT download or as usually do when space isn't an issue I just sync the whole folder structure up on the server. I load the Dropbox client, login with my account (and because of this the Dropbox acct I use is PURE upgrade - no personal or business stuff). The can choose which folders to let the computer sync. Dropbox is dirt cheap for the time that it saves you on upgrades. I think the cost is only $99 per year. As soon as someone mentions wanting to do an upgrade I'll get all my remote login information and start Dropbox working. Usually synchronizes all the files overnight and it's one administrative headache I no longer have to struggle with.
