What the best PDF editor. Is there a free one that people use?

For printing to PDF I've used CutePDF but I don't think that lets you edit

I keep around Acrobat Pro 6 just for that purpose. It's edited every exported PDF version I've come across.

@JimWoodhead, what did you end up going with? Any other input on this? Is CutePDF the consensus for being able to print to .pdf FOR FREE? Does it allow for any editing (e.g., deleting pages, inserting pages, etc.)? If not, aside from Adobe, any recommendations for a pdf editor?

I like Bullzip for a free PDF writer. It works well. Regarding editor , I found an old version of Foxit PDF Editor and unlocked it. It works ok for me. I think the program is under $100 new
