What is the trick (gotcha) with the Link Maintenance utility and changing the location of paperless documents? I can change the location no problem to the local server drive when I'm RDP to the server (ie. E:\paperless) I cannot change the location to a UNC when I am RDP to the sever Though I CAN change the location of future paperless documents to a UNC in the regular paperless maintenance

You've tried manually keying in the UNC path right? I usually get it to work that way.

Yes I've tried that and it's not working. Oddly enough I can open Windows Explorer and copy/paste the UNC on the same workstation and it goes to the path.

What version?? Can an administrator do it at the server console? Does it work for you from a regular workstation? Can you navigate to it? I usually have no problem doing it as you do. Using the UNC path in PR ACH maintenance is a bitch. I usually have to DFDM that. But this doesn't seem to be related at all.

I'm logged to the server as admin. I can change the paths to unc in the paperless - setup - maintenance. I just can't get a UNC to work in link maintenance - even when I paste it or manually key it in. I suspect there is some odd validation happening on the link maintenance.

When I go to the viewer for journals and registers and tell it to move from the drive letter (e:) to the UNC -- it accepts the UNC then all the documents come back in red. They are also not in the location any longer. I can copy/paste the UNC into Windows Explorer and it is valid. There is some flaw in how this instance of Sage is interpreting the UNC.
