What is the new core accounting for a small to medium sized business with basic functionality needs? An old client friend is looking to replace their Dynamics as the maintenance is sky high and their needs are basic GL, AP and payroll that can import time cards. Need about three users. 15years ago I would have sold MAS 90, but maintenance is now on the high end. Is the new low end Peachtree, QB or something else? What are you seeing or recommending?

For multi-user QB aren't they talking Enterprise which last I checked would be about $2,500. Sage on subscription is $65/user/mo plus payroll. It's not that wide a difference any longer.

We have a new client that went with Sage 100 on subscription to use essentially the same set of modules. They are just single user and the fee and product quality have been a good fit. Back end for a medical practice.
