What is our procedure for on-boarding OASIS members? I received this from Brian Rice via email today: I know your intention wasn't to monitor or administer the OASIS group but I have a question and I'm not sure who else I might ask. I completed the application (I don't know when because there was no receipt other than the confirmation page which I didn't save) for Acuity Solutions and didn't submit a payment because I have not been contacted by anyone in the group. If I need to be patient, I can manage that but I didn't want to leave it unattended if I need to re-submit the application or mail the payment. Thanks, Brian Rice

I think we need to have an administrative meeting with some topics: 1. OASIS - Onboarding process - Definition - should this become a subgroup (maybe Sage tech) and abolish OASIS which is confusing to everyone 2. Billing - I recommend we dump this manual grind and adopt Freshbooks which will allow us to send out a bill and establish recurring billing. 3. Status of 90 Minds tax return. - I have no further information about non-profit status from State of CT (nor do I think they determine overall status). - All info sent to Jeff - I have no additional info that has been received 4. Summit - Gary Feldman has offered a Tuesday night hosting of 90 Minds event 5. Recruiting - How many more 6. Membership - Do we want to eliminate lurkers or allow them to drop off as renewals go out - Do we want to create a different class of senior members (aka - very active) who pay less and have another rate for those deemed ""lurkers"" Lots to talk about All of these issues should be looked at with a goal of reducing steps. For example we can invoice out of MAS90 but if seven people have to handle the paperwork to get it done -- and then around renewal time another 8 hours of overnight labor goes into generating bills - I'm not sold that's scaleable - especially as we have people changing roles.

Right now: Jeff sends an invoice, usually almost immediately. They send payment. Jeff updates the spreadsheet. I add them to the Socialcast and ask them to email me when they get signed up. I add them to the other groups.

Brian was sent an invoice on 4/11. Robert was CC'd. The OASIS spreadsheet is updated at that time. Of the invoices that I have sent, several have required followup to determine if they were going to pay. He was up for a followup today as he was a laggard. As far as Freshbooks is concerned, all the information is set up in MAS and is e-mailed via paperless. It takes about five minutes to generate an invoice. It is working well.

Case closed. Thank you both very much.

Actually, it might be a good idea to put on the application form what to expect in the way of follow up from us. Maybe even an address to contact in case they don't hear anything.

And I can start sending an email with what to expect. That way mate they won't need to send you another email.

I added some of that to our application -- I'm wondering if people bother to even read it.... I can add in contact email addresses. Are you ok with listing your emails on the web site and submission form?

I can guarantee that no one bothers to read it all the way through. Prospects and clients don't read proposals and those commitments are a lot more than OASIS.

I'm ok with my email address being on there.

Use 90MindsA@btmlinesoft.com (note the ""A"") for mine. I'll know where to start looking once I start getting spammed.
