What is a production vs non-production instance of Microsoft CRM ? I have the feeling the writer doesn't know either. http://www.eweek.com/enterprise-apps/microsoft-doles-out-dynamics-crm-online-2013-freebies.html

Probably means you can have a free test instance for development or upgrade testing. Unless I am mistakenly trying to apply logic to a software publisher....

I think Phil is right. I noticed they charge $10/gig per month over you allocation. That's crazy expensive. For example, our disaster recovery solution costs $150/month per TERABYTE for extra storage or $.15/gig per month. Seems to me SaaS users in general see alot of 'nickel and dime' costs they didn't expect.

Too many cloud providers are modeling their pricing on cell phone companies...

@MarkChinsky - How much money are you leaving on the table?

@GaryFeldman I wish I were but you have bozos like BackBlaze or MozyPro offering unlimited storage or at most costs like $25/TB/month. Our solution is substantially better than there's but just like in ERP, its a tough sell when you appear to be alot more. Plus if you charge too much, then we start pushing into a territory where customers might just considering moving it all to the cloud because the price difference isn't that much.
