  • 1.  What happens to Sage migrate credit if you reduce licenses?

A customer has 32 users and is thinking about reducing them.
They also have a Sage migration credit which is substantial.

If they reduce users do you know what Sage does with the remaining migration credit?

Ask five Sage employees, get five different answers.  Pick the best one????  Good luck!  This might be a good case study for MOTM.

I would imagine the credit would be reduced on a pro rata basis. That's the logical answer, not necessarily the Sage answer.

I'm so up to my eyeballs in tracking manual Sage renewals and corrections and trying to hold everyone's hand that I'm not even going to suggest that the customer make a change until the credit is gone. Which, BTW, is probably ok with Sage...

I have a client waiting for a credit (AP check) for a refund of an overcharge last June.  They were promised $500.  Check arrived this week for $278.00.  Where does one begin to complain?
