What do you think about adding a ""Sagereseller Feed"" group in SocialCast. Then add the email account as ""share+sageresellerfeed@socialcast.com"" as members email address. I am thinking that Yahoo would feed this new group. Granted it won't reply back but it will document all the emails from the group.

Seems like it would be confusing - we're going to get ""I don't know where to look"" questions. The real way we should do it is make an attempt to run everything through Socialcast and also develop a knowledgebase type repository of our own. That way our knowledge isn't locked up into emails or Socialcast (or any other type service). I don' think the KB would even have to be on a fancy paid service - just someplace where a lot of our top information/bugs are summarized. I don't see any reason we couldn't migrate Sageresellers here -- -and it would actually be even better if interested members brought their staff here and ran private groups for their companies -- therefore having only one min business feed to monitor. The downside is I think (haven't tested) that private groups can probably be seen/visited by administrators even if the admin didn't create it which isn't appropriate for individual company groups.

If people want a real 'company group' than they should just setup another social cast account. We've proven that works ok. I also agree, I don't want to offer a 'crutch' to yahoo groups. we need to make a clean break. If any of the lurkers can't get on board, than this is a way to do some pruning anyway.

Let me set up a webcast so we can demo this and give suggestions on best use.
