What do I have to do to enable Time Track (which I

What do I have to do to enable Time Track (which I think is the Timecard replacement) on a Sage 100 2018 Premium system? When I go to Payroll - Setup - Payroll Options - the Enable Time Track for Timecard is grayed out. If I try to select Time Track Options I get a message ""Setup indicates this option is not available on your system"". Sage 100 2018.4 Premium. I looked in Sage and they have a license for Timecard which I believe is what Time Track would need?

You have to download and install the ""payroll"" software from the Sage partner web site. I believe it is Sage100Payroll_2184.exe

I did that. Sage is telling me ""I'm not sure if Time Track is Premium compatible

Should I have a separate key entry for Time Track? All I see for this customer in Sage is Timecard at Premium

I don't believe you need a separate key for Time Track. It not being available for SQL doesn't make any sense. The only reason it wouldn't be available is because it isn't at framework... and it IS at framework now. Time card / Time Track was updated to framework. I installed it on 2018 standard on my laptop just to check it out and it works similar to TimeCard.

They are telling me Time Track is not Premium compatible

Shocking but not entirely surprising considering who we are dealing with.

If there is no exclusion in the current Premium SPM, I'd contest that assertion about incompatibility. We rely on SPM for just this type of detail. They should fix that, or support it.

I'm doubting that Time Tracker is not Premium compatible based on this thread from Elliott who says that they folded the features into payroll and Job Cost - https://sagecity.na.sage.com/support_communities/sage100_erp/f/sage-100-time-tracking-and-job-cost-modules/107671/timecard-in-sage-100-2018-2-requirements

Agreed... and throwing the SPM at support may get you some traction, when asking where their supposed incompatibility is listed...

I can't see how Time Track isn't compatible with SQL when the tables are all built into 2018 payroll

Can you change the Enable Time Track field from N to Y in the PR_Options table in SQL?

I'm asking Sage if the keys can be refreshed/updated. I suspect that there might be some bug on Sage's end with enabling them for premium use.

Has been my experience that Sales will NEVER request a key refresh. Have tried several times. Have to call tech support, open a case and pray while on hold! Usually they will
