What AV are you using for your phone? I've been using AVG on Android (the free version) and it's been okay but the ads are getting annoying. Want to buy something to cover multiple phones. tia.

Why I thank you kindly for your suggestion but I'm inclined to believe the a poster I saw in a customer's IT Office - **_Apple, close your mind and open your wallet**_. :)

My (home) Norton covers devices too, so I use that. I also use Android.

I use G DATA for office computers and laptops. G DATA includes a free ""Internet Security Light"" available in Android Google Play.

Moira, I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 and have been getting annoying popup ads. I purchased a tool called AdGuard but it isn't blocking all of them. Will be interested in any improvements you find. (BTW, I agree with your opinion of Apple. I see them as the big brother everyone has been fearing will come but is already here.)

Awesome suggestions, thank you. @MichaelMcDonald G Data the German company? @RhondaMcNamara, I looked at Norton; good reminder to look again. With the holiday break coming up, I'll test out a couple and let you know results.

Another reason to love Big Brother Apple: https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2017/12/21/572538593/apple-says-it-slows-older-iphones-to-save-their-battery-life
