What are you seeing used successfully for anti-virus? I have a customer using Trend Micro with recurring issues with disappearing Sage files and/or reports that a ""sort file cannot be created"". I figure this is most likely an AV or Anti-Malware issue.

And my son is constantly getting slammed due to practicing very unsafe computing. Anybody find a review FROM A NON BIASED SOURCE on whats currently the best in terms of detection, removal and having a minimal impact on performance?

Well, according to this review, I'll be damned. it looks like Norton has been reborn in terms of performance and detection

I have a few customers that use ESet NOD32 for servers and workstations, and swear by it. I have also never had a server or WS compromised using the full version of AVG. I don't have a lot of confidence in Kaspersky, Mcafee, or Symantec. http://www.eset.com/us/business/ The strength of ESet NOD32 is its minimal impact on the OS/memory, and that it gently pushes users to install Windows security updates in a timely manner.

I have Eset Internet Security on my personal PC and so far so good, although I could probably have no security and be fine because I know what I'm doing. The issue comes down to my Minecraft addicted kids who are always looking for 'minecraft cheats' 'minecraft hacks' etc etc
