Phil - We at SWK have an apparel matrix that seems to work well for a lot of our clients with similar needs. It is not extremely invasive, so works well with other enhancements too. If you are interested in seeing it, please let me know and I will get you to the right person. Maybe someone else in the group has a client using and can give you some feedback as well.

You can look at ACS apparel ask for Ron Jacobs. I Don't have any clients using it but it really looks good and I think it work with multi bin, wave picking and pack....

@DianeRuth - thanks! @MichellePaparo - Is that an SWK original or a former Hightower? Does it work with Premium(SQL)?

It is an SWK original and I will check with the programmer if it works with SQL as I not 100% certain either way.

@MichellePaparo - this has come around for discussion again. A couple of questions: (1) does it work with drop ships? (2) is it a full matrix based on one item, or is it a toll for creating all the various combinations as separate items?

Phil - I reached out to our programmer on your questions and here is his response. If you would like, I can set up a call with him to discuss more questions or specifics, just let me know. Ultimately, each BASE-Color/Size combination is a standard CI_Item ItemCode using a fixed segmentation of the 15 Character Item code such as 8-4-3 Example OXFORDBTBLUELGE Onward from the CI_Item Itemcode, all SalesOrder and PurchaseOrder Detail lines are 100% standard Sage100 records. So the Drop ship question is answered with a simple YES. The AM Package has only three NON Standard Data Files: Base (which is structured almost identically to CI_Item and serves a Template for newly created matrix CI_Item Items when combined with color and size. Color Codes Size Codes The big challenge is if the interested party already has a running Sage100 system with inventory items that are not structured in a way that is easily convertible into the strict structure that our Apparel Matrix requires.
