What are people normally recommending for connecting with existing ecommerce solutions? Is there a viable web service in the solution now or is InSynch still the best route?

I know Websitepipeline is a proven solution. Also, Certipro has a great integration for connecting Sage 100 with Magento, and it is very reasonably priced.

WSP is definitely worth looking at, Mark. It uses web services (no longer InSynch), and doesn't have to use its web store. It also provides some outstanding Customer Portal functionality to it.

For a complete, turnkey solution, Websitepipeline is the best, although an investment. In-Synch has the most comprehensive integrations to just about all Sage 100 tables, and they have a great deal of experience integrating with Amazon. Still a relative bargain. We have customers on both solutions.

Is WSP designed to work with existing ecommerce websites?

We use Task Centre primarily. The folks at Fisher Technology have developed standard scripts for required objects and it is very customizable to meet any requirement. I know we have used it for Magento and Shopify, bt they also have used it with BigCommerce and others.
