We're looking for an equipment maintenance solution. Does anyone have any experience with Equipment Maintenance from Xsys? Worked with Xsys in any other areas? Or can anyone offer alternatives? @NicholasWebb

Have a client using Eq Maint from ASI. I'm new to it so can't tell you much about it, but no errors yet. :-) You basically setup work tickets in EM and then post items to it from Inventory Issues (added fields for WT and task are in the Transaction Entry screen). Kind of like Job Cost - EM is the repository of activity in other modules. I think you can also assign a WT on a PO line.

Thanks for the input, @BethBowers . Were you involved in the implementation or was it inherited?

I've implemented the ASI solution recently and found it very good. The screens could use a little tlc but the product is sound.

@BrianRice - I inherited, but also the person in-house who had been in charge was gone, so I had to basically re-implement with new staff.

@BethBowers and @KathrynScofield - thank you for the plugs on our EM product. @BrianRice - our EM product was written to be a simple solution, however, I believe we've added some additional functionality to it recently. JobOps Field Service also works well for depot repair and equipment maintenance. Standard JobOps works also, but Field Service has more specific functionality and the cost is less.

JobOps might be overkill. They are looking at just maintaining their own fleet of 5 trucks for now.
